1. Purpose
To maintain platform security, prevent fraud, and comply with payment processor requirements, Playnex applies transaction and spending limits to user accounts.
These limits are designed to reduce unauthorized activity and protect both users and the Platform.
2. Daily Transaction Limits
Playnex may apply daily limits including:
- Maximum number of transactions per 24-hour period
- Maximum total spending amount per 24-hour period
- Maximum single transaction value
Exact limits may vary depending on:
- Account age
- Transaction history
- Risk assessment
- Geographic location
Playnex reserves the right to adjust limits without prior notice for security purposes.
3. Counter Notification (Appeal)
Accounts may also be subject to monthly cumulative spending limits.
These limits are implemented to:
- Prevent unusual spending patterns
- Reduce fraud exposure
- Maintain compliance with acquiring bank requirements
Users may request a review of limits after establishing positive transaction history.
4. Enhanced Verification
If a user attempts to exceed established limits, Playnex may require:
- Identity verification (KYC)
- Additional payment authentication
- Manual transaction review
Failure to complete verification may result in transaction cancellation.
5. Risk-Based Adjustments
Playnex applies a risk-based monitoring system. Spending limits may be:
- Increased for verified accounts with clean history
- Reduced for accounts flagged for suspicious activity
- Temporarily restricted during fraud investigations
6. Abuse Prevention
Attempts to bypass spending limits by:
- Creating multiple accounts
- Using multiple payment methods
- Circumventing security systems
May result in permanent account suspension.
